The Climate Infrastructure Toolkit distills every way that land-based design projects can address climate change in order to scale up and speed climate action in the built environment. Although uncommon, the toolkit presents applied strategies for both climate change mitigation and adaptation together. This enables design teams, developers, municipalities, and public space organizations to be both proactive on carbon emissions and responsive to current and projected environmental changes locally. This site provides resources and references for supporting applied strategies and enabling design teams, developers, municipalities, and public space organizations to be both proactive and responsive. The toolkit is structured around the four major impact areas. Click on any one to reveal additional strategies, tactics, and options. The Toolkit was developed by XL Lab at SWA.
